A New Pledge for Mother Nature: 6th International Rights of Nature Tribunal Final Session in Brazil before COP30
The International Rights of Nature Tribunal will close its 6th international hearing on November 11, 2025, in Belém, Brazil, during the People’s Summit at COP30. This landmark session, titled “A New Pledge for Mother Nature,” will consolidate findings from previous hearings in New York and Toronto and present a comprehensive proposal for global environmental governance.
The program will be structured around six key pillars:

International reflections from initiatives like the Pacto Ecosocial e Intercultural del Sur, the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, and the Global Tapestry of Alternatives.

Just transition beyond fossil fuels and mining, holding corporations and governments accountable.
