Antonio Elizalde

Antonio Elizalde Activist, researcher, educator and popularizer. Regular collaborator of Chilean social movements and ecologists, he was a graduate in sociology from the Catholic University of Chile, who assumed government tasks in the governments prior to the Pinochet dictatorship, to later become an independent researcher and consultant for international organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP or ECLAC. A tireless essayist and popularizer of issues related to globalization, development models and sustainability. For eleven years he was university rector and currently chairs the Fundación Chile Sustentable and directs Polis y Sustentabilidad magazines.
